A newspaper reporter who lives a crude and superficial life is hit by a car while flashing a woman—and dies. Newly deceased, the reporter is introduced to Reverend Hinnermäki at the Malmi cemetery, who helps him navigate the afterlife. He meets many other interesting, even well-known deceased people. From his new perspective, the reporter can read the thoughts of the living, and enter their dreams. Perhaps with these new powers, he can correct the wrongs of his shallow mortal life?
