Warhorse (Sotahevonen)

Two Russians—a pilot and a Soviet spy posing as a pharmacist—infiltrate Finnish society with side- splitting results.

March 1942. Russian pilot lieutenant G. Savolenko is tasked with dropping the skilled Finnish paratrooper V. Kunitsin into Hyrynsalmi, but when his plane runs low on fuel, Savolenko has no choice but to ditch the plane and jump with Kunitsin. Now undercover in enemy territory, the pair engage in a light-hearted misadventure.

Savolenko falls in love with a beautiful pharmacist while Kunitsin buys a horse from the market in Nurme. The Heikki horse soon becomes not only the comrades’ best friend, but also the unexpected hero of their operation.
