Grandpa Verneri is on the run from his insufferable wife. Letitia, who is sick of chasing the old man, decides that this time he will be brought home by their grandson, Aukusti. The search arouses Aukusti’s desire to travel and he accompanies his grandfather to Europe. It will be an adventure like no other, taking them through Sweden, Norway, France, and England, with no small amount of alcohol, sex and danger. With neither of them in a hurry to get back home, the trip offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance for an understanding between two vastly different generations.
