God Almighty (Auta armias)

Pirjeri Ryynänen is a crane driver who laments his wasted youth and aimless career. Even so, Pirjeri thinks his life would be in order if there weren’t such big worries in the world. From the height of the crane he operates, he achieves a sense of distance from his problems. While he is no ‘true’ believer, it has become his habit to talk to God from this vantage point and discuss his many grievances. What Pirjeri doesn’t know is that God is suffering from stress and he plans to take a sabbatical. Having heard Pirjeri’s problems for years, he offers him a chance to take the reins on reality… and see if he can do any better.
